SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF BROADVOX-CLEC, LLC'S NOTICE TO
VOLUNTARILY RELINQUISH ITS CPCN; CASE NO. BCL-T-26-01.
On March 12, 2026, Broadvox-CLEC, LLC ("Company") submitted a Notice to
Voluntarily Relinquish its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity ("CPCN") ("Notice")
with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission("Commission").
STAFF ANALYSIS
Commission Staff("Staff')reviewed the Notice. The Company is requesting to voluntarily
relinquish CPCN No. 484 and discontinue all telecommunication services, including local
exchanges telecommunication services, in the State of Idaho. Notice at 1. The Company states
that they do not have any customers in Idaho and believes a customer notice is not needed. Id.
The Company did not request the customer notice requirement be waived. Id.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission acknowledge the Company's Notice of
relinquishing CPCN No. 484 and discontinuance of all telecommunication services in the state of
Idaho. Staff also recommends that the Commission cancel the Company's tariff and pricelists on
file with the Commission and remove them from the Commission website. Additionally, Staff
recommends that the Commission waive the customer notice requirement.
