States all across the country are shooting down these data centers because of the drag
they have on power and their poultice nature on our water sources. I haven't talked to a
single neighbor on either side of the isle who was in support of data centers. Please reject
and not waste Idahos infrastructure on an Al bubble that is destined to pop.

I respectfully urge the Idaho Public Utilities Commission to reject Idaho Power's proposed
new natural gas plants and instead prioritize investments in renewable energy and energy
storage. Idaho has tremendous potential for solar, wind, battery storage, and energy
efficiency, which can provide reliable electricity while reducing air pollution, limiting
greenhouse gas emissions, and protecting public health.
Building new fossil fuel infrastructure commits Idaho ratepayers to decades of fuel costs
and emissions at a time when renewable technologies continue to improve and become
more cost-effective. Investing in clean energy and modern grid infrastructure will better
position Idaho for long-term economic growth, energy independence, and environmental
stewardship.

was how much of our energy comes from hydroelectric power. As a people, we value our
outdoor resources in this state profoundly, and the proposal to increase power output with
gas plants feels like a slap in the face for everything that we hold dear. I urge you to only
pursue expansion through clean energy means like solar, wind, etc. If there are customers,
such as data centers, that require large amounts of power, I urge Idaho Power to charge
