IPUC inspector Perkins and Green conducted a sample damage prevention and line marker audit in the
Nampa/Boise District of Intermountain Gas Company. Wrote NOPV and completed forms.
Discrepancies:
Routine inspection identified 170 pipeline markers that are missing, damaged, faded, or otherwise illegible,
resulting in noncompliance with required visibility and identification standards for underground and
aboveground pipelines.
