RECEIVED Kootenai Electric July 10, 2026 IDAHO PUBLIC COOPERATIVE UTILITIES COMMISSION July 10, 2026 Via Email Only Secretary Monica Barrios-Sanchez Commission Secretary Idaho Public Utilities Commission 11331 W. Chinden Blvd. Building 8, Suite 201-A Boise, ID 83714 Email: secretary@puc.idaho.gov Re: Errata to Kootenai Electric Cooperative, Inc.'s Order No. 37081 Compliance Filing Case No. C07-E-25-01 Dear Secretary Barrios-Sanchez: On June 29, 2026, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") issued Order No. 37081 ("June 29 Order") conditionally approving Kootenai Electric Cooperative, Inc.'s ("KEC") 2026-2028 Wildfire Mitigation Plan ("Plan"). Pursuant to the June 29 Order, KEC filed its First Amended 2026-2028 Wildfire Mitigation Plan("Amended Plan") on July 9, 2026 ("July 9 Compliance Filing"). In the June 29 Order, the Commission requested that KEC include in its compliance filing information consistent with KEC's response to Staff s first Production Request No. 14 ("Request No. 14"). Accordingly, KEC incorporated its response to Request No. 14 as Appendix G to its Amended Plan. After KEC submitted its July 9 Compliance Filing, Staff notified KEC that the Commission's request in the June 29 Order for KEC's response to Request No. 14 was in error and that requested that KEC supplement its July 9 Compliance Filing to provide information consistent with KEC's response to Staff s First Production Request No. 13(b) ("Request No. 13(b)") instead of the response to Request No. 14. Accordingly, KEC submits this errata to (i) delete its response to Request No. 14 from Appendix G to its Amended Plan, and(ii) insert its response to Request No. 13(b) as Appendix G. This errata deletes all references to Request No. 14 from KEC's Amended Plan, including the reference in the table of contents, and replaces those references with Request No. 13(b). 9014 W. Andrea, General Counsel, (208) 292-3280 Request No. 13b: Through discussions with the Company, it stated that it operates 14 weather stations and may install additional ones. Please identify where the Company anticipates installing each additional weather station in 2026, 2027, and 2028, including rationale for each location. Additionally, please provide the estimated average cost of installation per weather station. KEC Response: In 2026, KEC plans to install weather stations at area fire stations within the areas that it serves. With the tempest weather platform, KEC has access to an expanding network of privately-owned weather stations in the area. For years 2027 and 2028, KEC will evaluate the network and add stations as needed. The average cost of each weather station that KEC installs is estimated to be approximately $2,000.
