Good afternoon all,
I am not sure of the process, but the opinion of not being able to recoup costs for the tank
Lease which now on the 2nd phase of the terms, is totaling over$29k a year is just unreal. A
payment for the well 3 modifications that accounts for another$15k year is hard to absorb
and not be able to recapture. How are we supposed to operate in the red? I just put out
another$26k this spring for well 1 pump and motor replacement along with thousands
more on generator repairs last fall. My rates are'/z what neighboring systems charge,
including other municipal systems. We are the only system in Nez Perce County that
provides fire flow and storage to achieve the Class 4 fire rating that we have. I can't afford
Legal counsel for this but have no other choice but to dive deeper into debt to prove my
case.
The transition to QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online Enterprise Suite Online is
finally complete after many months, except for the learning curve on the entries that are
shared by our ranch. I have another Zoom session with my account rep to address this
step. This has been a major delay in data acquisition, as Intuit migrated my data over to
their online system.
I have cc'd James Browitt on this, as he will be my legal advisor at this point. Again, my time
is sparce, as fire season is on us, and we are currently stretched thin. I am out of the
farming aspect of things, as there's not enough time to operate things as needed. Direct me
as to what I need to prove, other than the contract of the lease, which was termed the first 5
years at a payment of just over$3k month, and the 2nd term which we are currently in for the
2nd 5 years at over$2,400 month with a final$1 buyout at the end of the lease. I will find
those documents and provide that information. The tank is clearly noted in the Sanitary
Surveys and JUB's water modeling report.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.
