As an Idaho resident, a customer of Idaho Power, and someone who suffers from asthma I
am writing you to please reject Idaho Power's request to construct gas plants in our
Southern Idaho Community. The air quality in Idaho at the moment is horrible due to the
wild fires and adding gas plants would affect sensitive populations like babies and people
with health issues like myself and may even cause death for residents because of pollution
from the plants. We need clean energy solutions that won't harm our health, pollute our air,
and increase utility costs for residents like myself. Please protect our environment from
worsening and keep Idaho Power accountable to their Clean Energy goal of 100%. These
projects are not in the interest of our community and there are healthier solutions to meet
demands of future energy needs.
