On December 5,2025, CBTS Technology Solutions LLC("Company)applied to the Idaho
Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting the Commission cancel its Certificate of
Public Convenience and Necessity ("CPCN")No. 509 issued to it on November 20, 2012, Order
No. 32677, as amended on December 28, 2017, Order No. 33956. Application at 1. The Company
indicated that as of January 1,2025,it no longer provided services to Idaho customers under CPCN
No. 509. Id. The Company also requested a waiver of the Idaho Code § 62-612(2) notice
requirement. Id. At the June 30, 2026, Decision Meeting, Staff recommended the Commission
cancel CPCN No. 509, cancel any tariffs the Commission has on file associated with CPCN No.
509, and grant the Company a waiver of the notice requirement under Idaho Code § 62-612(2).
Decisision Memorandum at 2. This Order approves the Company's requests.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that CBTS Technology Solutions LLC's request to cancel
CPCN No. 509 is approved, and thus CPCN No. 509 is canceled without prejudice and is no longer
in effect.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that any tariffs or price lists on file with the Commission
associated with CPCN No. 509 are canceled and shall be removed by the Commission Secretary.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Company's request for a waiver of the notice
requirement under Idaho Code § 62-612(2) is granted.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within 21 days of the service date of this Order regarding any matter decided in
this Order. Within 7 days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may
cross-petition for reconsideration.Idaho Code § 61-626.
