The Commission also reiterated a prior order that changed the certificated utility from CDS Stoneridge Utilities, LLC to J.D. Resort, Inc. for future filings with the Commission. CDS Stoneridge Utilities initially sought approval to raise overall revenue by 43 percent. The utility said the increase was needed to address system deficiencies identified in a Department of Environmental Quality sanitary survey and to recover lost revenue after one of its customers, the Stoneridge Golf Course, built its own well and stopped buying water from the utility. CDS Stoneridge proposed to raise revenues by increasing monthly minimum customer charges based on meter size ranging from 3/4 of an inch to 6 inches. The utility filed notice that it was withdrawing its application after an extensive discovery process and after Commission staff, intervenors to the case and the public filed written comments. CDS Stoneridge previously received a rate increase in January of 2025. The Commission issued an order on July 7, 2026, approving the withdrawal of the utility's rate case application.
