CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY )
On February 12, 2026, Southshore 2 Water Company LLC, ("Company") applied to the
Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting a Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity("CPCN"),to provide water service within the Southshore Subdivision
No. 2 in Canyon County, near Nampa, Idaho.
On May 29, 2026, the Commission issued Order No. 37053 granting the Company's
request for a CPCN. The Order directed the Company to maintain its current rates and for Staff to
open a separate docket to evaluate whether the Company's interim rates are fair, just, and
reasonable. Order No. 37053. Additionally, the Commission directed the Company to submit an
updated tariff and any other required documentation in a compliance filing within 30 days of the
final order.Id.
On June 3, 2026, the Company submitted an updated tariff and other required
documentation.
During the Commission's June 16, 2026, decision meeting, Staff presented a Decision
Memorandum recommending that the Commission approve the Company's tariff, as filed,with an
effective date of May 29, 2026.
COMMISSION FINDINGS AND DECISION
The Commission has jurisdiction over the Company's Application and the issues in this
case under Title 61 of the Idaho Code including Idaho Code §§ 61-301 through 303. The
Commission is empowered to investigate rates, charges,rules,regulations,practices, and contracts
of all public utilities and to determine whether they are just, reasonable, preferential,
discriminatory, or in violation of any provisions of law, and to fix the same by order.Idaho Code
§§ 61-501 through 503.
Having reviewed the Company's submissions, Staff s recommendations, and the record,
the Commission finds that the Company has submitted the documents and other information

required by Order No. 37053.We hereby approve the Company's tariff,submitted on June 3,2026,
as filed, with an effective date of May 29, 2026.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Company's tariff filed June 3, 2026, is approved with
an effective date of May 29, 2026.
THIS IS A FINAL ORDER. Any person interested in this Order may petition for
reconsideration within 21 days of the service date upon this Order regarding any matter decided in
this Order.Within 7 days after any person has petitioned for reconsideration, any other person may
cross-petition for reconsideration.Idaho Code § 61-626.
