How were these participants chosen? Why were so few participants involved in one-on-one education? Please provide a detailed explanation of the process and materials used in educating participants. RESPONSE: In 2014, the Community Action Partnership Con Ed Specialist focused on the personalized usage letters as the primary communication strategy. One-on-one education is conducted by two different means, either the Con Ed specialist accompanies the weatherization crew when they conduct an audit of a home, or during an in-office session. The Con Ed Specialist conducts one-on-one education with agency clients who have high usage and shares no-cost, low-cost tips for saving energy. Examples of education tips include cleaning or replacing their furnace filters, and adjusting hot water heater temperatures (brochures are attached in Staff_PR_27 Attachment A). Page 1 of 1
