RE: IN THE MATTER OF AVISTA CORPORATION'S TARIFF ADVICE FOR
PROPOSED REVISIONS TO SCHEDULES 90 AND 91; CASE NO. AVU-TAE-
26-03
On June 1, 2026, Avista Corporation, d/b/a Avista Utilities ("Company") submitted Tariff
Advice No. AVU-TAE-26-03, proposing revisions to Schedules 90 and 91. In its request, the
Company states the purpose of its revisions is to: (1) incorporate the mention of demand response
("DR") programs and/or services within the Company's tariff Schedule 90, "Electric Demand Side
Management Programs;" (2) to provide an avenue for DR as part of its demand side management
("DSM") offerings; and(3)to allow for a portion of DR administrative costs to be charged through its
associated Schedule 91, "Demand Side Management Rider Adjustment — Idaho" ("DSM Rider").
Tariff Advice at 1. The Company did not propose any changes to rates in its Application. Id. at 3. The
Company made additional revisions to improve the format and flow of the Schedule 90 tariff, to add
the mention of DR, and to replace the term "energy efficiency" with the term "demand side
management" or"DSM". Id. at 2.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Commission Staff ("Staff') reviewed the Company's tariffs and discovered inconsistencies
between statements made by the Company in Schedules 90 and 90B regarding the funding of DR
programs. On June 12, 2026, the Company filed amended Schedules 90B and 90D ("Avista Utilities
Substitute Tariff Sheets, Schedule 90"), removing the inconsistency from Schedule 90B and fixing
two typographical errors contained in Schedule 90D. Avista Utilities Substitute Tariff Sheets,
Schedule 90 at 1. After reviewing Avista Utilities Substitute Tariff Sheets, Schedule 90, Staff believes

the Company's proposed changes to its Schedules 90 and 91 provide a clear and accurate
representation of the Company's DSM offerings.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission approve the Company's tariff Schedules 90 and 91
submitted on June 1, 2026, with the amended tariff sheets 90B and 90D submitted on June 12,
2026.
