This year alone,we have endured 3 separate phone outages lasting several days. This time, a technician is expected to appear after 8 days of no phone service. Sure, I have a cellphone (that does not get service at my rural home) and I could drive 3 miles and sit by the side of the road to conduct my business. How many phone calls does your family make in a day?Yeah, me too. Add to that a contaminated well project, wedding, medical projects-you get the gist.We did a rudimentary test that showed the service line between the box at the end of the driveway and our house is the problem. It is 30+years old. When it rains a lot the phone does not perform well. My guess is there is a splice/worn out spot in the line. This has been going on for years (see previous complaint). There are not enough technicians to fix their equipment/there is an interface problem/Zipley is doing maintenance; excuses ad nauseum. Even the internet service is out in places in Sagle (several day wait for remediation). As I understand it, Zipley is required by law to provide reliable phone service to rural customers. There seems to be no problem with Zipley accepting our monthly payments. Am I a troublemaker/Karen or simply a person who expects a multinational company to uphold their end of'the deal'?Thank you; looking forward to a resolution:'
