SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF AHOI, LLC'S NOTICE OF INTENT TO OPERATE
AS AN "OTHER TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICE PROVIDER";
CASE NO. AHL-T-26-01.
On April 30, 2026, Ahoi, LLC ("Company) submitted a Notice of Intent ("Notice") with
the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") to operate as an "Other
Telecommunications Service Provider"within the State of Idaho.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Commission Staff("Staff') reviewed the Company's Notice. In its Notice, the Company
notified the Commission that they intend to operate as an "Other Telecommunications Service
Provider" in the State of Idaho. Notice at 1. The Company indicated that it offers interconnected
Voice over Internet Protocol services directly and as a wholesaler to Idaho residents. Id. Staff
verified that the Company is in good standing with the Idaho Secretary of State's office. Id.
Staff notes that the Company is not requesting a Certificate of Public Necessity or an
Eligible Telecommunication Carrier status in this Notice.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission acknowledge the Noice submitted by the
Company.
