SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF CBTS TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS LLC'S
NOTICE OF INTENT TO OPERATE AS AN "OTHER
TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICE PROVIDER"; CASE NO. BWT-T-
26-01.
On April 7, 2026, CBTS Technology Solutions LLC ("Company) submitted a Notice of
Intent ("Notice") with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") to operate as an
"Other Telecommunications Service Provider"within the State of Idaho. Notice at 1.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Commission Staff ("Staff') reviewed the Notice and attached exhibits. The Company
provided notice to the Commission stating that they intend to operate as an "Other
Telecommunications Service Provider" in the State of Idaho. Id. at 1. The Company indicated
that it intends to offer interconnected "Voice Over Internet Protocol services to business
customers" throughout the State of Idaho. Id. at 2. The Company included as Exhibit A its
Certificate of Existence/Filing from the State of Idaho Office of the Secretary of State.
Staff noted that the Company is not requesting a Certificate of Public Necessity or an
Eligible Telecommunication Carrier status in its Notice.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission acknowledge the Noice submitted by the
Company.
