Comment: "Please deny the 3.15% rate increase requested by Idaho Power.
In 2025, Idaho Power drastically reduced the Export Credit Rate for residential solar
producers because energy rates had dropped.
In its 2026 rate increase request, Idaho Power claims energy rates are increasing,yet I
didn't see anything in the case filing about raising the Export Credit Rate for residential
solar producers that would fairly compensate and reflect those increased energy rates.
Idaho Power can't have it both ways. If Export Credit Rates decrease when energy costs
decline, then those rates need to increase when energy costs rise. My excess solar energy
will be especially valuable during the coming hot summer when water levels are projected
to be at record flows:'
