Comment: "As a senior citizen I find it very disheartening to hear that the utilities
companies keep asking for MORE rate increases. They were just granted one and now they
are requesting another. With our current administration causing major economic hardship
for most of us it seems unreasonable to allow another rate increase at this time. Please
consider your population as a whole and stand up for us by denying this new rate increase
request:'

Comment: "Dear sirs, I received notice from Avista that they are submitting another rate
increase 7.4%, it was just the beginning of this year 2026 that you approved a rate increase
and my utility bill has increased a substantial amount. I'm 82, live in a 800 sq ft home built
in 2000, in downtown cda, this additional increase will create a hardship on me. I presently
am on a comfort billing cycle @221.00 a month this includes gas and electric, another
increase of 7.4% be very difficult for me to pay. I would appreciate your reconsideration on
approval of this increase, since Avista has already received additional rate increases in
January, the need for another does not seem appropriate at this time and put extreme
burden on us seniors who are struggling here in CDAto keep our homes. Thank you for your
consideration."
