Observations included (7200 W Barrister Road, Boise): Safety equipment, JSA, valid dig ticket, verified
operator qualifications, verified equipment calibration, correct trench depth, potholing, boring, line
locating, observed butt fusion process, electrofusion saddle T, curb valve installation, tracer wire, bedding
with sand, successful pressure test and backfill. All observed procedures completed by field personnel
were followed in accordance with IGC Operations and Maintenance Manual.
Requested documentation from IGC compliance personnel regarding an irregular 2"butt fusion that was
completed by the manufacture to ensure a successful pressure test and applicable butt fusion specifications
were followed.
