Subject: Southshore 2 Public Water well
I am in favor of making our water system Public. For the past year, there has been infighting
about whom owns the well, who we pay the bill to, and other items. I would like it
regulated by the state and to stay in the hands of the people who take care of it now. Some
arguments have been made, that because an owner who went bankrupt made a comment
about maybe someday turning it over to the state might mean we ourselves should have it.
He lost this property through bankruptcy and none of us bought during his ownership. The
new owners were not bound by what he said (in my opinion)> But the people here do not
get along well enough to do that and none of our paperwork shows that that we would take
ownership of the well. The CC&Rs show that we pay another party and do not mention
ownership by the people who bought property. We were given the chance to buy it a few
years ago, and we chose not to. So, new board, new push. As the board changes, the goals
change and thus and outside entity would end this and provide stability Linda Israel 13738
