REQUEST:

The “Lancaster Variable O&M Payment_CONF” excel file in Mr. Johnson’s Confidential Workpapers lists Lancaster monthly forecasted energy quantities, but the data does not match the AURORA output provided by Avista. Please explain and reconcile the difference between the two set of figures. If the amounts are supposed to match, please provide a correct version of the Lancaster Variable O&M Payment file and explain the impact to the revenue requirement proposed in the filing.

RESPONSE:

Please see Avista's response 068C, which contains TRADE SECRET, PROPRIETARY or CONFIDENTIAL information and exempt from public view and is separately filed under IDAPA 31.01.01, Rule 067 and 233, and Section 9-340D, Idaho Code, and pursuant to the Protective Agreement between Avista and IPUC Staff dated June 1, 2016.

Staff_PR_068C Confidential Attachment A is a corrected “Lancaster Variable O&M Payment” work paper. There is no impact to the revenue requirement proposed in the filing as the work paper is only informational and the correct expense is in the pro forma.
