AVISTA received a rate increase that ultimatelywill raise rates approximately 15%, well above inflation. And while it was implied they would not ask for more in the near future, now they are coming back and asking for more. If their management can not manage life with the increase they received, it is not incumbent on customers to suffer. I am retired on a fixed income. My residence is an older mobile home which is not capable of being upgraded to be more energy efficient. In the winter months my electric bill approaches $300. In the summer it's closer to$100. Both are excessive. The IPUC has an obligation to the people, not the utility. Plain and simple. tell AVISTA to manage their money better by voting NO.
