RESPONSE TO THE COMMENTS OF
THE COMMISSION STAFF
Intermountain Sewer and Water, Corporation (the "Company"), by and through its
undersigned counsel of record, T. Hethe Clark of Clark Wardle, LLP, responds to the Comments
of the Commission Staff, dated February 25, 2026 (the "Staff Comments").
The Company agrees with the Staff Comments but would like to provide background as
to the reasoning behind its proposals. Two primary goals behind the Company's planning are: (i)
to protect the public from unreasonable rates; and (ii) to promote stewardship over water
resources by promoting efficiency. These goals were reflected in the Company's proposals,
which included a Proposed Rate that would decrease over time as users are added, as well as the
Company's proposal of a commodity rate of $0.30 per 1,000 gallons above 10,000 gallons.
However, the Company acknowledges Staff s reasoning and believes Staff s approach of
revisiting these items in connection with a future general rate case is reasonable and appropriate.

Accordingly, the Company is prepared to accept the recommendations contained in the
Staff Comments.
