SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S 2025 VARIABLE
ENERGY RESOURCE INTEGRATION STUDY AND PROPOSED UPDATE
TO SCHEDULE 87; CASE NO. IPC-E-25-36.
On December 26, 2025, Idaho Power Company ("Company") applied to the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission("Commission")requesting approval of the Company's proposed Schedule 87,
Intermittent Generation Integration Charges ("Schedule 87"), updated rates, effective February 1,
2026, for which the Company's 2025 Variable Energy Resource ("VER") Integration Study ("2025
VER Study") was the basis of, and acknowledgement that the Company complied with the
Commission's directives in Order No. 36661.
On January 21, 2026, the Commission issued a Notice of Application, Notice of Suspension
of Proposed Effective Date, and Notice of Intervention Deadline, setting a deadline for interested
parties to file a petition to intervene. Order No. 36909.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Modified Procedure,
establishing a April 16, 2026, public comment deadline, and a April 30, 2026, reply comment
deadline.
