BOISE (Feb. 11,2026)—The Idaho Public Utilities Commission is accepting written comments until late February on the interim rates Bear Claw Water System,LLC charges to provide service to customers. Bear Claw Water System serves customers in the Bear Claw Subdivision in Bonner County. It was an unregulated utility until it received a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Commission in October of 2025.After granting the CPCN, the Commission directed its staff to evaluate if the utility's interim rates were fair,just and reasonable. Written comments are being accepted until Feb. 26, 2026. Comments are required to be filed through the Commission's website or by e-mail unless computer access is not available. To submit comments through the website, visit puc.idaho.gov and click on the "Case Comment Form" link on the upper left side of the page. Please use case number BCW-W-25-02 when filling out the form. Comments submitted through e-mail should be sent to the e-mail addresses listed below. Commenters are required to include their name,address and case number BCW-W- 25-02. If computer access is not available, comments can be mailed to the Commission and Bear Claw Water System at the addresses listed below.
