RE: Case No. AVU-E-25-11, Staff Compliance Filing
Dear Commission Secretary,
On November 4, 2025, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") issued
Order No. 36827 directing Commission Staff("Staff")to meet with the Parties to discuss the issues
raised in the Complaint and Answer. The Order also states that the Parties and Staff shall report
back to the Commission within sixty days regarding any progress towards mediation and
recommendations for next steps.
Staff met with both Parties on December 5, 2025 and December 12, 2025. During both
meetings, Staff discussed the issues and concerns of both Parties. Both meetings were productive;
however, there was no progress made towards a resolution in this matter. The Deputy Attorney
General will provide the Commission and Parties with a legal analysis on jurisdiction for this case.
