IPC-E-25-33 LOAD AND GAS FORECASTS IN THE ) INCREMENTAL COST INTEGRATED ) IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S RESOURCE PLAN AVOIDED COST ) COMPLIANCE FILING MODEL. ) Idaho Power Company ("Idaho Power" or "Company") hereby respectfully submits to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") the accompanying natural gas forecast and Peak and Premium Peak Hours submittal in compliance with Final Order No. 36885 in the above-captioned case. I. INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND On October 15, 2025, Idaho Power filed its annual Compliance Filing to update the load forecast and natural gas forecast components of the Incremental Cost Integrated Resource Plan ("ICIRP") avoided cost methodology, as well as the long-term contract changes and the Peak and Premium Peak Hours used to calculate capacity payments for energy storage Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 qualifying facilities ("QF"). IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S COMPLIANCE FILING - 1 On December 23, 2025, the Commission issued Order No. 36885, approving the Company's update to its load forecast and contract changes as filed. However, the Commission declined to adopt the Company's proposed natural gas price forecast and directed the Company to submit, as a compliance filing, the updated load forecast using the alternative forecast developed by Staff. Additionally, the Commission approved the Peak and Premium Peak Hours identified in Staff's Table No. 2, which are provided as Attachment 2 to this compliance filing for clarity of the record. II. THE FILING Pursuant to the Commission's direction in Order No. 36885, and consistent with the method directed in Orders No. 35344 and 36434, Idaho Power provides herewith as CONFIDENTIAL Attachment 1 a revised natural gas price forecast as follows: (1) using NYMEX forwards prices as of October 15, 2025, for years 2026, 2027, and 2028 of the 20-year forecast; (2) using an average of the October 15, 2025 NYMEX forwards prices and August 2025 vintage Platts forecast for year 2029 of its forecast; and (3) using the August 2025 vintage Platts forecast for the remaining years of the forecast (years 2030- 2045). Additionally, the Peak and Premium Peak Hours approved by the Commission in Staff's Table No. 2 are provided as Attachment 2 to this compliance filing. III. REQUEST FOR RELIEF Idaho Power respectfully requests that the Commission accept the revised natural gas forecast in compliance with the Commission's directive in Order No. 36885.
