SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF CDS STONERIDGE UTILITIES, LLC'S
APPLICATION FOR AUTHORITY TO INCREASE ITS RATES AND
CHARGES FOR WATER SERVICE IN THE STATE OF IDAHO; CASE
NO. SWS-W-25-02.
On December 1, 2025, CDS Stoneridge Utilities, LLC ("Company") applied to the Idaho
Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting authorization to increase its rates and
charges for water service such that the Company would experience a 43% increase in revenues
("Application"). The Company requests an effective date of February 1, 2026.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Application, a Notice of
Suspension suspending the Company's proposed effective date for 30 days plus five months
pursuant to the Commission's authority under Idaho Code § 61-622(4), and a Notice of
Intervention Deadline establishing a 21-day intervention period.
