IN THE STATE OF IDAHO ) ORDER NO. 36859
On May 30, 2025, Idaho Power Company ("Company") applied to the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting authority to increase its rates and charges for
electric service to its customers in the State of Idaho and for associated regulatory accounting
treatment.
On November 5, 2025,the Commission issued a Notice of Amended Schedule and Notice
of Technical Hearing, setting a Technical Hearing in this matter on Tuesday, December 2, 2025,
at 9:00 a.m. (local time). Order No. 36832.
On November 6, 2025, an intervenor, the Federal Executive Agencies ("FEA"), filed a
Motion to Attend the Technical Hearing Remotely and Excuse In-Person Attendance ("FEA
Motion"). The FEA Motion stated that allowing FEA counsel to attend remotely from the
Washington, D.C. metropolitan area would promote judicial economy and avoid unnecessary
travel expenses. FEA Motion at 2.
On November 18, 2025, an intervenor, Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association, Inc.
("IIPA"), filed a Motion to Have Witness Attend the Technical Hearing Remotely and Excuse In-
Person Attendance ("IIPA Motion"). The IIPA Motion stated that allowing IIPA's witness, Dr.
Kaufman, to appear remotely would promote regulatory economy and avoid unnecessary travel
expenses. IIPA Motion at 2. The IIPA Motion also stated that counsel for IIPA would be present
at the hearing. Id.
No motions were filed in opposition to the requests.
COMMISSION FINDINGS AND DECISION
At its Decision Meeting on November 25, 2025, the Commission considered the pending
motions and granted FEA's Motion to Attend the Technical Hearing Remotely and Excuse In-
Person Attendance, as well as IIPA's Motion to Have Witness Attend the Technical Hearing
Remotely and Excuse In-Person Attendance. The Commission directed the parties authorized to

appear remotely at the Technical Hearing scheduled for December 2,2025,to participate via video
conference,provided no technical issues arise,using the access information specified in Order No.
36832, issued on November 5, 2025.
We now issue this written Order in conformity with our decisions.
ORDER
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that FEA's Motion to Attend the Technical Hearing Remotely
and Excuse In-Person Attendance is granted.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that IIPA's Motion to Have Witness Attend the Technical
Hearing Remotely and Excuse In-Person Attendance is granted.
THIS IS AN INTERLOCUTORY ORDER rather than a final and appealable Order of the
Commission. While the Commission may review, stay, or clarify an interlocutory order,the period
of reconsideration will not begin until the Final Order is issued.
