The justification for the Little Falls program is to reduce the forced outages
and equipment failures that continued to increase. The next two slides show
the forced outages at Little Falls from 2004 through 2011. The following slide
shows some of the more recent equipment failures. Avista is fortunate
nobody was injured during these equipment failures.
