IPC-E-25-16 COMPANY'S APPLICATION FOR GENERAL RATE CASE IDAHO IRRIGATION PUMPERS ASSOCIATION,INC.'S MOTION TO HAVE WITNESS ATTEND THE TECHNICAL HEARING REMOTELY AND EXCUSE HIS IN- PERSON ATTENDANCE Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association, Inc. ("IIPA"), by and through counsel, respectfully moves the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (the "Commission") for an Order granting IIPA' s motion to have its witness, Dr. Lance Kaufman, attend the technical hearing, scheduled for December 2,2025,and continuing December 3-5,2025,as needed,remotely and excuse hi in-person attendance. In support of this Motion, IIPA states: 1. On October 24, 2025, Idaho Power Company filed a Motion for Approval of Stipulation and Settlement. IIPA is a party to this Stipulation and Settlement and under the terms, agrees to continue to support the Commission's adoption of the terms of the Stipulation and Settlement. 2. On November 5, 2025, the Commission issued Order No. 36832, which included several notices, including the Notice of Proposed Settlement, Notice of Amended Schedule and Notice of Technical Hearing. In Order No. 36832, the Commission amended the procedural schedule and set November 18, 2025, as the deadline for all parties to file testimony and set December 2, 2025, and continue December 3-5, 2025, as needed, for the Technical Hearing. The Commission included methods to participate in the Technical Hearing online and telephonically. 4. The IIPA intends to file testimony on November 18, 2025. However, the IIPA would like to avoid the travel costs of its expert witness, Dr. Kaufman from Corvallis, OR. to the hearing and would like to present his testimony remotely. IIPA's counsel will be present at the hearing. 5. The IIPA had previously had Dr. Kaufman provide testimony in support of a settlement stipulation remotely in case PAC-E-24-04,with IIPA's counsel attending in person. 6. Given the reasons set forth above, allowing IIPA's witness to attend the hearing remotely will promote regulatory economy and avoid unnecessary travel expenses. 7. Granting IIPA' s Motion will not prejudice any party to this case,nor will it impede the hearing process. WHEREFORE, IIPA respectfully requests that this Commission grant its Motion and permit IIPA witness,Dr. Lance Kaufman,to attend the Technical Hearing remotely and excuse his in-person attendance.
