SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF ZAYO NETWORK SERVICES, LLC'S NOTICE OF
INTENT TO OPERATE AS AN "OTHER TELECOMMUNICATIONS
SERVICE PROVIDER"; CASE NO. ZNS-T-25-01.
On July 30,2025,Zayo Network Services,LLC ("Company") submitted a Notice of Intent
("Notice") to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") to operate as an "Other
Telecommunications Service Provider"within the State of Idaho.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Commission Staff ("Staff') reviewed the Notice and attached Exhibits. In the filing
submitted on July 30, 2025, the Company provided notice to the Commission stating that they
intend to operate as an"Other Telecommunications Service Provider"in the State of Idaho. Notice
at 1. The Company stated in the Notice that they will provide point-to-point telecommunications
services such as Ethernet and other high-bandwidth circuits for high-speed data transport
throughout the State of Idaho. Id. at 2. A Certificate of Foreign Registration from the State of
Idaho Office of the Secretary of State was included in the Notice. Id. at 5. Additionally, the
Company submitted a Certificate of Good Standing from the State of Delaware Office of the
Secretary of State. Id. at 8.
Staff noted that the Company is not requesting a Certificate of Public Necessity or an
Eligible Telecommunication Carrier status in this Notice.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission acknowledge the Notice submitted by the
Company.
