SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF FIBER ASSETCO, LLC'S NOTICE OF INTENT TO
OPERATE AS AN "OTHER TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICE
PROVIDER"; CASE NO. FAL-T-25-01.
On July 24,2025,Fiber AssetCo,LLC("Company)submitted a Notice of Intent("Notice")
with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") to operate as an "Other
Telecommunications Service Provider"within the State of Idaho.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Commission Staff ("Staff') reviewed the Notice and attached Exhibits. In the filing
submitted on July 24, 2025, the Company provided notice to the Commission stating that they
intend to operate as an"Other Telecommunications Service Provider"in the State of Idaho. Notice
at 1. The Company stated in the Notice that they may provide statewide services such as Ethernet
and Wavelength services, transport to wholesale customers and customers in government, health
care, education and other enterprises. Id. at 2. A Certificate of Foreign Registration from the
State of Idaho Office of the Secretary of State was included in the Notice. Id. at 6. Additionally,
the Company submitted a Certificate of Good Standing from the State of Delaware Office of the
Secretary of State. Id. at 11.
Staff noted that the Company is not requesting a Certificate of Public Necessity or an
Eligible Telecommunication Carrier status in this Notice.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission acknowledge the Notice submitted by the
Company.
