Is IP seeing a drop in revenue this year(hence profits and dividends) because everyone is going"Energy saving"with LED technology, more efficient appliances and electrical systems, solar energy, etc.? Look: - IDACORP, Incas net income attributable to IDACORP forthe fullyear 2024 was $289.2 million, or$5.50 per diluted share. This represents an increase of approximately 11% in net income compared to the $261.2 million reported for the full year 2023. They are seemingly not in need of even more revenue!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: MaReesa Davenport Submission Time: Nov 7 2025 12:14PM Email: mareesas(@gmail.com Telephone: 206-335-1362 Address: 7678 E Declaration Dr Nampa, ID 83687 Name of Utility Company: Idaho Power Case ID: IPC-E-25-16 Comment: "I am concerned about the rate increase proposed by Idaho Power, especially given there was already a rate increase this year. This is almost a 10% increase on residential customers. The residential rate increase is higher than the other rate increases. The cost of living in Idaho has already increased exponentially and wages have failed to keep up. We have large numbers of low-income and fixed-income folks who will be hit hard by this rate increase. There are many large power consumers (like data centers) moving to this area who will drive up demand and challenge capacity. I am concerned that this growth and rate increases are being unfairly borne by existing residential customers. When will we all get to keep a fixed budget to go with our fixed income and live in peace?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: James Wanek Submission Time: Nov 7 2025 12:49PM Email: wandren@myctl.net Telephone: 208-322-6221 Address: 3420 W Grover Ct Boise, ID 83705 Name of Utility Company: Idaho Power Case ID: IPC-E-25-16 Comment: "I am responding to the recent email from Adam Rush, announcing that the PUC is considering a 7.48% increase in electric rates for Idaho Power. I am opposed to this massive increase, even though it is less than what Idaho Power wanted. It is unfair and unrealistic in this economy to grant an increase that is more than twice the rate of inflation. To rub salt in the wound, Idaho Power has been granted a 30% reduction in what it has to pay for excess electricity returned to the grid by residential solar generators, like myself. The PUC is putting short term profits for Idaho Power above the long term needs of the community and ignoring the science that supports greater investment in solar, wind, and alternate fuels away from fossil fuel generating plants." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 The following comment was submitted via PUCWeb: Name: Robert Geesen Submission Time: Nov 7 2025 1:16PM Email: qxrobb(@gmaiL.com Telephone: 208-390-7622 Address: 608 N 10W Shoshone, ID 83352 Name of Utility Company: Idaho Power Case ID: IPC-E-25-16 Comment: "Again, I have a concern as a senior about cost of the new rate hike. My winter bill is already more than I budget. My home is in the country so electric was my only option for heat, other than my wood burning stove. As I age hauling wood is getting less and less an option. The tier system is unfair for homeowners using electric heat. As we need more heat, we are charged a much higher rate, than when we dont need heat. Seems unfair that we pay a higher bill to stay warm. Please reconsider this rate hike. It seems to me the homeowners and not the businesses are getting the highest increase." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3
