TOPICS FOR THE DEPOSITION OF IDAHO POWER'S DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE Pursuant to IDAPA 31.01.01.224, I.C. § 61-605, and I.R.C.P. 30(b)(6), Idaho Power must designate a representative to testify regarding the following matters: AMENDED NOTICE OF DEPOSITION OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY PURSUANT TO IDAPA 31.01.01.224—Page 1 1. Segregation of Interconnection Costs. How interconnection-related capital and operations and maintenance ("O&M") costs are recorded, allocated, or segregated from other generation, transmission, or distribution costs, including the use of FERC or internal account codes. 2. Inclusion of Interconnection Costs in Avoided Cost Methodologies. Whether, how, and to what extent such costs were considered or embedded in the Surrogate Avoided Resource ("SAR") and Incremental Cost Integrated Resource Plan("ICIRP") methodologies. 3. Assumptions Regarding Avoided O&M. All assumptions or data used to model avoided O&M. 4. Consistency Between Avoided Cost Rates and Schedule 72 Charges. Any reconciliation or cross-check comparing (1) O&M cost paid to QFs as avoided costs to (2) the current or proposed tariffs in Schedule 72. 5. Preparation of Supplemental Discovery Responses. The personnel, process, and rationale for revising Idaho Power's Supplemental Response to Interrogatory No. 8. 6. Model Accuracy and Validation. Data, testing, or validation performed to confirm accuracy of existing and proposed O&M cost models. 7. Distinction Between Gen-Tie and Four-Pole Interconnections. Technical and cost differences, ownership responsibilities, and O&M treatment for each under Schedule 72. 8. Potential Transition to an Actual Cost Model. Idaho Power's consideration, analysis, or evaluation of transitioning from an"average" or modeled O&M charge to an actual cost-based approach, including any internal studies, feasibility assessments, or prior discussions with the Commission or stakeholders regarding such a transition.
