SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF DRY CREEK WATER COMPANY LLC'S
APPLICATION FOR A GENERAL RATE CASE; CASE NO.DRY-W-25-01.
On September 15, 2025, Dry Creek Water Company LLC ("Company") applied to the
Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting authority to increase its rates and
charges for providing water service in the State of Idaho over a 3-year period, beginning with an
average increase of 6% for residential customers effective October 15, 2025 ("Application").
On October 6, 2025, the Commission issued a Notice of Application, a Notice of
Intervention Deadline establishing a 21-day intervention period, and Notice of Suspension
suspending the Company's proposed effective date. No parties intervened in the time permitted,
and the Commission issued a Notice of Parties on October 30, 2025.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff ("Staff') recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Modified
Procedure establishing a February 11, 2026, public comment deadline, and a March 4, 2026,
Company reply comment deadline. Staff also recommends the Commission issue a Notice of
Virtual Public Workshop for December 3, 2025. Finally, Staff recommends that the Commission
issue an order setting the time, date, and location of any customer hearings as determined by the
Commission.
