BOISE (Nov. 6, 2025)—The Idaho Public Utilities Commission has amended the schedule for an application submitted by Idaho Power to increase the rates it charges to provide electric service to customers. Parties to the case have filed a proposed settlement that will be reviewed by the Commission. In its initial application submitted to the Commission on May 30, 2025, Idaho Power asked for an overall revenue increase of$199.1 million, or 13.09 percent. If the proposed settlement is approved by the Commission as filed, the utility will receive an overall revenue increase of$110 million annually, or 7.48 percent. Previous deadlines for parties to submit written testimony were vacated to allow the parties to work on the proposed settlement. The deadline to submit testimony has been changed to Tuesday,Nov. 18. A customer hearing originally scheduled for Thursday,Nov. 20, will continue to be held that day. It will be at the Commission's office, 11331 W. Chinden Blvd., Building 8, Suite 201-A, Boise, ID 83714. It will begin at 4:30 p.m. (MST) and conclude at 7:30 p.m. or after all customer testimony has been taken, whichever comes first. A previous news release sent on Aug. 22 included information on testifying remotely or listening to the hearing using the Webex platform. Since then, the Commission has transitioned to the Microsoft Teams platform. The change involves new call-in numbers. Those interested in submitting testimony remotely can now do so by calling 1-208-985-2810 and entering conference number 798 879 165#when prompted. Those interested in listening to the hearing without submitting testimony can call 1-208-985-2810 and enter conference number 342 710 86#when prompted. A technical hearing in early December will be held as originally scheduled. It will be at the Commission's office, 11331 W. Chinden Blvd., Building 8, Suite 201-A, Boise, ID 83714. The hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. (MST) on Dec. 2 and conclude at 5:00 p.m. It will continue if needed on Dec. 3, Dec. 4 and Dec. 5. It will begin at 9:00 a.m. (MST) and end at 5:00 p.m. each day. Remote participation initially was offered through Webex. It will now be offered through Teams. Comments are required to be filed through the Commission's website or by e-mail unless computer access is not available.
