submit this response to the comments filed by Ms. Launa Wolf on October 23, 2025 in GNR-T-25-
05.
Ziply Fiber confirms that the service reliability issues raised by the customer have been
successfully resolved. The reported service issues, including poor reception and dropped calls,
were initially traced to and corrected at the network level.
A more recent "No dial tone" issue prompted us to dispatch a technician to the area. During the
investigation of this specific trouble ticket, our technical team discovered an internal records error
that was preventing the customer from receiving the highest level of service. This error was
immediately corrected, and the customer's line was migrated to an updated network infrastructure
serving the Trestle Creek Rd area.
A successful test call was made with the customer, confirming the landline is fully functional and
working correctly on the updated system. With the successful migration and repair complete, we
anticipate a significant improvement in service quality for this customer.
We understand the importance of reliable service and strive to keep rates as competitive as
possible. As the company routinely evaluates the costs of maintaining its infrastructure, the
increased expense to service the legacy copper network in remote, low-density areas is reflected
in the current service rates. These costs are necessary to ensure the continued reliability and
maintenance of the line.
