operator qualifications, verified equipment calibration, hand dig to locate stub, correct trench depth,
verified proper rollback of V butt fusions, tracer wire installation, successful pressure test, squeeze off,
mechanical fittings (stab fitting), bedding, backfill and continuity test. Quizzed employees of AOC
recognition of squeeze off. All observed procedures were followed in accordance with IGC Operations
and Maintenance Manual.
