Steel Pipe N/A -Welder(s) Qualified Pipe/Coating—Inspected/Repaired - Cathodic Protection -Non-Destructive Testing - Welding Procedures - Removal of asbestos wrap - Exothermic Welding Additional Comments: August 61h, 2025: Inspector Galli traveled to Afton, WY to conduct construction inspection along Crow Creek Road towards Montpelier, ID. (Galli 0.5) Observations included: pipe stringing, material verification, inspection of completed butt fusions, line markers, operator qualification, equipment qualifications and tracer wire installation in trenches. Discrepancies: 1. Fusion procedures state 500 degrees +/- 10 degrees in several places. 2. Unable to determine what butt fusion standard they follow in their procedures. 3. Only observed two-line markers along 40 miles of right of way. Need to verify more line markers will be installed. August 241h, 2025: Inspector Perkins traveled to Montpelier, ID to conduct construction inspection along Crow Creek Road on 25-26 August. (1.0) August 25-26, 2025: Observations included: pipe stringing, material verification, fusing, inspection of completed butt fusions, spider plowing in pipeline, excavating trenches, bedding/backfilling, using bulldozer to pre-rip area to be spider plowed, line markers, operator qualification, equipment qualifications, tracer wire and warning tape installation in trenches. (2.0) August 271h, 2025: Inspector Perkins traveled to Afton, WY to witness fusion/OQ training for contract personnel. Traveled back to Boise. (1.0) September 8, 2025: Compliance/follow-up paperwork.
