AVU-E-25-13 CORPORATION'S ANNUAL ) COMPLIANCE FILING TO UPDATE THE ) NOTICE OF FILING LOAD AND GAS FORECASTS IN THE ) INCREMENTAL COST INTEGRATED ) NOTICE OF RESOURCE PLAN AVOIDED COST ) MODIFIED PROCEDURE MODEL TO BE USED FOR AVOIDED ) COST CALCULATIONS ) ORDER NO. 36792 On September 15, 2025, Avista Corporation ("Company") filed a compliance filing requesting the Idaho Public Utilities Commission ("Commission") issue an order accepting its updated load forecast, natural gas price forecast, and contracts used as inputs to calculate its incremental cost Integrated Resource Plan avoided cost rates, as required by Order Nos. 32697, 32802, and 35274. The Company requests its filing be processed by Modified Procedure with an effective date of January 1, 2026. With this Order the Commission issues notice of the Company's filing and establishes public comment and Company reply deadlines. The Company also indicated that it has plans to extend two PURPA contracts that are set to expire at the end of 2025. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Filing is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Commission's office. These documents are also available on the Commission's website at www.pue.idaho.gov. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that all proceedings in this case will be held pursuant to the Commission's jurisdiction under Title 61 of the Idaho Code, and all proceedings in this matter will be conducted pursuant to the Commission's Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.000 et seq. NOTICE OF MODIFIED PROCEDURE YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission has determined that the public interest may not require a formal hearing in this matter, and it will review the case through written submissions under the Commission's Rules of Modified Procedure Rules 201-204 of the Idaho NOTICE OF FILING NOTICE OF MODIFIED PROCEDURE ORDER NO. 36792 2 Public Utilities Commission's Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01.201-204. The Commission notes that Modified Procedure and written comments have proven to be an effective means for obtaining public input and participation. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that persons desiring to state a position on this Filing may file a written comment explaining why they support or oppose the Filing. Persons who would like a hearing must specifically request a hearing in their written comments. Persons shall have until December 2, 2025, to file written comments. Comments must be filed through the Commission's website or by e-mail unless computer access is unavailable. To comment electronically, please access the Commission's website at www.puc.idaho.gov.
