Comment: "I am NOT in favor of the 17.35% rate increase! This is unfair! With all the growth
that's been allowed, did no one figure on the need for more power? Those that are
developing the new housing, the big data centers and so forth, can pay what's needed to
provide for the updated infrastructure! Rates are already high! 1, like many others, are
against this!VOTE NO on this increase!"

Comment: "I see in this application for rate increase that Idaho Power has asked for an
increase in the basic service charge from $15 to $25 per month. This amounts to an
increase of 66.7%year over year. When you factor in that the service charge was $5/month
just a couple years ago, that amounts to a 400% increase. There are customers whose bill
for electricity use doesn't amount to $25/month. Customers should pay for power used
and do so based on the rates established. To "sneak" a substantial increase in overall cost
by increasing the basic charge feels unfair and dishonest to customers. Please consider
not approving this increase and in fact reducing the base connection fee:'

Comment: "When I originally installed solar on my house, there were no fees in place.
Idaho power tried to downgrade the value of my power, which thankfully the IPUC shot
down their effort and grandfathered those who had solar power in. Then they decided to
add a 5$ monitoring fee, then the fee slowly climbed up to $15. Now they are yet again
trying to jump the price again to $25. How does the same monitor, going to the same
program, which is all computerized, raise in cost 400%?So now I will be paying$300 a year
just to monitor my input, and they are raising the cost of power, which devalues the power I
generate as well, making it almost worthless to have put in solar power. This is blatant
robbery and clearly motivated by the greedy large stakeholders, Vanguard and BlackRock.
Idaho Power has a monopoly in Idaho and can not be allowed to get away with this robbery.
There is no need to raise rates this extreme while the CEO of the company is making 7.4
million a year. They clearly are not hurting for funds."
