Comment: "To Whom it May Concern, I am a Boise Native and have seen the immense
change in our valley firsthand. I want to start with, I understand that the growth is inevitable
and the needs to foster that growth and provide for it are absolutely necessary as well.
However, I do NOT feel it is necessary for the public to foot the bill for these multi-billion
dollar companies (Meta, Amazon, Google, etc.) and their data centers that are becoming
an ever-increasing threat to many of our beloved institutions that make us a happy
community; whether it be the open space that they inhabit, the noise pollution created,
higher electricity and water prices, further suffocating our ability to use our hard-earned
money for ways to enjoy our lives and continue to produce for the society overall. I'm not
sure what incentives the utilities companies are presented with by these data center
moguls, but I want the utility companies to remember that they serve us, the public first
and foremost, and that a billionaire and their destructive ideas are not the public as a
whole! I really hope Idaho power does listen to the public and forces the owner/operators
of these data to pay for their own use of power, and utilize alternate means (solar panels
and power banks on these giant warehouses)to help offset the enormous power needs
that these buildings require. PLEASE do help us and choose us Idaho power, I implore
you!!!"

Comment: "Why is Idaho Power sending info about shutdowns when theywant to increase
my bill almost 20%? My fixed income is going up about 3% a year- how am I supposed to
afford this? I know the current state policy is giving more money to the wealthy- are we just
supposed to die?"
