Comment: "To whom it may concern,
This is regarding case number IPC-E-25-16. Please reconsider the proposed increase in
service charge from $15 to$25. There were already increases from $5 to$10 than to $15 in
only a few years, and another one to $25 is too much. Also, please reconsider the proposed
17% rate increase per kW hour, as this would also be too much. These increases would
pose a hardship on low income residents and cause anger among customers.
Even with the population increase in recent years, keeping the rates at current level will not
cause Idaho Power to fall behind, as that would be that many more households paying the
current rate, meaning the companywould at least break even by keeping the current rate.
