SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF THE INVESTIGATION INTO BUCKSKIN
PROPERTIES, INC., OWNER OF A WATER SUPPLY AND
DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM; CASE NO. BPI-W-24-01.
On May 8, 2025,the Commission issued Order No. 36595, granting Meadows Water, LLC
("Company") a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity ("CPCN"). Further, the
Commission directed the Company to file a Tariff and other documents. Additionally, the
Commission instructed Staff to open a separate docket to evaluate whether the Company's rates
are fair,just, and reasonable.
On July 15, 2025, the Company submitted the required documents, including: (1) a tariff;
(2) a billing statement; (3) an initial disconnection notice; (4) a final disconnection notice; (5) a
notice of procedure for reconnection; and (6) a summary of rules. Staff reviewed the Company's
documents, including its Tariff, and confirmed they conform to Order No. 36595.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission approve the Tariff submitted by the Company on July
15,2025, as filed,with an effective date of May 5, 2025,consistent with Order No. 36595.Further,
Staff recommends opening a separate docket to initiate an evaluation of the Company's rates as
contemplated by Order No. 36595. This evaluation would include sending data requests to the
Company,requesting to examine Company records, and concluding with a recommendation to the
Commission for further action, if any.
