Inspection Summary
Audit consisted of IPUC inspectors Brooks and Galli inspecting field installed operating equipment for the
NWGP inspection unit in New Plymouth, ID. The PHMSA IA question set and NWGP equipment listing
were used as a guide throughout the audit to ensure all areas were completed.
August 26,2025: (1.0 Standard MG)(1.0 Standard JB)
Traveled to New Plymouth, ID and met with Northwest Gas Processing personnel to audit the companies
field operating equipment. Following the audit an IA exit interview was conducted with Randy Shelton,
Shelton Regulatory Consulting. 1 rectifier and 11 isolation control valves were inspected. Block valve
#132 was unable to be inspected due to access issues. Completed and attached audit forms: PHMSA IA
question set with OQ protocol 9, IPUC Form 1, Post-Inspection Preliminary Written Findings and attached
inspection documents.
IPUC inspectors would like to highlight the implementation of ten-foot line markers in areas of limited
visibility. This proactive measure has proven effective in enhancing public awareness and damage
prevention.
Discrepancies:
One Carsonite was found with a peeling and faded sticker. Fixed on-site.
