Inspection Summary
Audit consisted of IPUC inspectors Brooks and Galli inspecting field installed equipment for the Pocatello,
Idaho inspection units. The PHMSA IA question set and IGC equipment listing were used as a guide
throughout the audit to ensure all areas were completed/covered.

Travelled to Pocatello and met with IGC company representatives in the Pocatello District Office for an in
brief and to begin field audit and review OQ records for all personnel taking part in the inspection.

Regulator Stations: 10 regulator stations were inspected for proper operation, regulator lock-up, relief
device operation, cathodic protection pipe-to-soil readings, pipe-to soil interface wrap protection, station
warning signs and right-of-way clearances.
27 casing-to-carrier isolation checks, 5 cathodic protection rectifiers, 6 pipeline patrols, 19
emergency/isolation valves and 14 HPSSs were checked for proper operation, observations listed below.
An exit interview was performed following the district inspection with field personnel of Intermountain
Gas Company and MDU Compliance Manager Colby Lundstrom.
Discrepancies:
48829-RS-60088 —Primary regulator did not lock up on the first test. Regulator was rebuilt and
successfully locked up on the second test.

48827-PP-14156—WO12289316 for peeling wax wrap
48829-HPSS-69541 —WO12289319 for small leak
48827-HPSS-62277—WO12289325 for small leak
WO 12289309 for multiple faded and peeling line markers in Grace
