Inspection Summary
Audit consisted of IPUC inspectors Brooks and Galli inspecting field installed equipment for the Twin
Falls, Idaho inspection units. The PHMSA IA question set and IGC equipment listing were used as a guide
throughout the audit to ensure all areas were completed/covered.
July 14-15, 2025: (2.0 Standard MG)(2.0 Standard JB)
Travelled to Twin Falls and met with IGC company representatives in the Twin Falls district office for in
brief and to begin field audit and review OQ records for all personnel taking part in the inspection.
Regulator Stations: 21 regulator stations were inspected for proper operation, regulator lock-up, relief
device operation, cathodic protection pipe-to-soil readings, pipe-to soil interface wrap protection, station
warning signs and right-of-way clearances.
18 casing-to-carrier isolation checks, 4 cathodic protection rectifiers, 13 pipeline patrols, 27
emergency/isolation valves and 40 HPSSs were checked for proper operation, observations listed below.
An exit interview was performed following the district inspection with field personnel of Intermountain
Gas Company and MDU Compliance Manager Colby Lundstrom.
Discrepancies:
Pipeline Patrol (Water Crossing) 48569-PP-13982 - Within a quarter of an inch from the wing wall.

Valve 48567-VLV-35960 - Added carsonite
Valve 48567-VLV-35958 -Needs carsonite and trim vegetation for easier access
Valve 48567-VLV-36060 - Added carsonite
