RE: Case No.AVU-G-25-03-Avista Utilities 2025 Natural Gas Integrated Resource Plan(IRP)
Dear Secretary:
Avista Corporation, dba Avista Utilities (Avista or the Company), filed its 2025 Natural Gas
Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) on March 31, 2025. As established in the Notice of Modified
Procedure, Order No. 36637, Commission Staff provided comments pertaining to the IRP on August
19, 2025. Avista appreciates Staff s participation in the Company's IRP Technical Advisory
Committee(TAC)process, comments affirming the IRP complies with the requirements specified by
previous Commission orders, and the recommendation that the Commission should acknowledge the
2025 Natural Gas IRP. The Company will continue to work with Staff and other interested parties on
the development of the 2027 IRP and looks forward to Staffs continued collaboration in the
Company's resource planning efforts.
