Capitol Water Corporation has filed an application with the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission to increase rates by 6.004%for recovery of capital expenditures since January 1,
2024. Capitol Water has asked that the rate increase be spread evenly across all rate components.
If the Commission approves the request in full, customer rates would be increased by 6.004%.
It will take several months for the Commission to accept,reject or modify this rate
increase request. Capitol Water Corporation's application for a rate increase is a proposal,
subject to public review, and a Commission decision. A copy of the application is available for
public review at the offices of both the Commission and Capitol Water Corporation, and on the
Commission's website(www.puc.idaho.gov). Customers may also subscribe to the
Commission's RSS feed(http://wA-w.puc.idaho.gov/rssfeeds/rss.htm)to receive periodic updates
via email about the case.
