Comment: "I can understand a rate increase of a small percentage, but Raising the meter
rate $10 a month is extreme. As an elderly person on a fixed Social Security budget, that is
a life changer. $120 per year is over 11.5% of one of my social security checks. My
thermostats set at 66 in the winter. I NEVER use my A/C.Yet taxes and utilities consume
more and more of my annual income. I CANT penny pinch to save money on a mandatory
meter charge. AXE IT.
Please, ENOUGH is ENOUGH. Living in a rural area without natural gas my home is all
electric. I get penalized by paying a larger rate in winter with the tier usage.
No I am too proud to ask for LEAP. I Can survive on my own. So dont tell me the
government can help. NO.
KILL THE METER INCREASE forjust having a meter.

Comment: "With the proposed rate increase and service charge increase, where is the
estimated 199 Million in revenue going? Is there a budget available for the public to review
and see where their money is going? If our power grid can't support the full wait of the Data
Centers coming in, why are they not bearing the weight of the cost, instead of passing it

onto the citizens of Idaho who are already struggling with trying to make ends meet?Why is
the executive branch of Idaho Power not taking cuts? Myself, as a concerned citizen would
like some answers to what I feel is nothing but greed.When will the rate increases every 1-2
years stop?"

Comment: "I wish to express my opposition to the proposed Idaho Power service price
hikes. Idaho Power was just approved for small price increases last year when the service
charge went from $5 to $15/month. There was also an increase in price per kilowatt. The

proposed increase is way too high at this time. I will be watching this and being in touch
with my representatives.
