SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY'S APPLICATION FOR
AUTHORITY TO INCREASE ITS RATES AND CHARGES FOR
ELECTRIC SERVICE IN THE STATE OF IDAHO; CASE NO. IPC-E-25-
16.
On May 30, 2025, Idaho Power Company ("Company") applied to the Idaho Public
Utilities Commission ("Commission") requesting authority to increase its rates and charges for
electric service to its customers in the State of Idaho and for associated regulatory accounting
treatment. The Company requested a July 1, 2025, effective date.
On June 13, 2025, the Commission issued a Notice of Application, Notice of Suspension
of Proposed Effective Date, and Notice of Intervention Deadline. Order No. 36638. The
Commission granted intervention to: Clean Energy Opportunities for Idaho; Idaho Irrigation
Pumpers Association, Inc.; the city of Boise City; the Federal Executive Agencies; the Industrial
Customers of Idaho Power; Micron Technologies, Inc.; the Idaho Hydroelectric Power Producers
Trust; Gannon, et al.,pro se; the Kroger Co.; and the Northwest Energy Coalition. Order Nos.
36557, 36635, 36665, 36666, 36685, 36690, and 36691. On July 30,2025,the Commission issued
a Notice of Parties.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Commission Staff("Staff'), Intervenors, and the Company have communicated via email
regarding a proposed procedural schedule for processing this case. Staff recommends the
Commission issue a Scheduling Order establishing:
• Virtual/In-Person Public Workshop conducted by Staff at a time and place to be set
by Order of the Commission.

• October 17, 2025: Staff and Intervenor Written Testimony
• October 20-31, 2025: Customer Hearing(s) at a date, time and place to be set by
Order of the Commission.
• November 14, 2025: All Party Rebuttal Testimony
• December 2-5, 2025: Technical Hearing at a time and place to be set by Order of
the Commission.
